浙江齿轮减速电机有限公司创建于1970年，原名浙江齿轮减速电机厂，1997年10月改制为有限责任公司，是YCJ系列齿减速电机和YVF系列变频调速三相异步电动机全国联合设计成员单位之一，是国家机械局和浙江省机械工业厅定点生产齿轮减速电机的专业工厂，企业已形成年10万千瓦齿轮减速电动机的生产规模，成为浙江省齿轮减速电动机生产行业的最大企业，总产量位居全国第二，品种规格雄居全国首家。
公司设综合管理部，技术质量部、生产制造部、营销管理部四个部及供应科、房产科、财务科三个直属科室。公司现在职工400余人，其中大中专毕业生97人，公司占地面积3万平方米，建筑面积1.96万平方米,拥有资产2595万元,其中固定资产原值1505万元,净值1212万元,所有者权益1007.23万元.产品质量信誉卓著,市场全面活跃,公司被上级部门授予重合同守信用单位、文明单位等多种荣誉称号，连续五年列入市百强企业，99年公司通过ISO9002质量保证体系的认证。2004年通过ISO9001国际质量体系的认证。
