目前，国茂集团已从过去单一生产“国茂”牌系列摆线减速机，发展到现在的标准系列、专用系列、大中型非标系列、新品系列、高精密传动等十几个系列上万个品种的减速机，具备了120万台各类工业减速机以及80万台Y2系列鼠笼式三相异步电动机的年生产能力，具备了非标减速机研发、设计、制造的全套技术力量和先进的测试手段。

2013年1月2日，国茂集团在武进国家高新区占地50多万m2全国规模最大的现代化“国茂减速机和电机研发制造基地”，正式全面地胜利落成投运；7月1日，国茂集团再次投入30亿元，积极启动打造1480亩长三角地区特色智能装备“国茂产业园”；9月份，国茂集团全面启动实施又一个转型升级重要项目，“年产30万台斜齿轮减速电机”高新区重点项目，也即集团二期项目——“国茂立德传动设备有限公司新厂建设”项目（注：该公司为国茂集团2013年新成立的全资子公司，前身为集团制造三部，建设独立厂区后，将按新型工业化现代企业标准，实施独立运营，并在5年内把G系列做成国内第一品牌，为公司未来上市夯实基础）。
