主要从事轿车变速器、中重型汽车变速器、分动器、桥齿轮的研发、制造和销售。“株齿”牌商标为湖南省著名商标。
公司实力雄厚，现有资产5亿元，拥有国内外先进的生产和检测设备1500多台，关键装备全部达到世界先进水平。公司先后引进、吸收和消化Styer、Benz、Man、Volvo、Hino等世界先进汽车企业产品技术,具有年生产轿车变速器20万台、中重型变速器10万台，重型汽车螺伞齿轮40万套。公司是国内最大最强的桥齿轮、分动器专业生产基地，国内先进的变速器研发制造基地。
