唐冶厂生产的硬齿面磨齿减速器，已有50多年的历史。
为提高减速器的设计和制造质量，我厂于80年代末由德国弗兰德公司引进专有技术和关键的加工、检测设备设计生产的产品。经过多年的消化吸收，现已形成SZ、KE、SD、KZ、SV、KD等十二大系列、二百多个规格的系列产品，国前化率达100%。
该产品最大末端中心距为800mm，最大额定功率达8500kw，传动比范围为5—500。这些减速器的齿轮采用低碳合金钢渗碳淬火磨齿，具有齿轮精度高、体积小、重量轻、承载能力大、寿命长、噪音低等优点，各项技术性能指标均达到世界先进国家的水平，为中国名牌产品，通过国家煤安认证。
为上海宝钢、京唐港等国家重点工程以及冶金、矿山、煤炭、电力、能源、运输、起重、轻工、纺织、工程机械、化工、建材等各个行业，提供了大量的优质产品。
90年代末，我厂又在引进系列硬齿面减速器的基础上，自行开发了换代升级产品－PC2000系列减速器。并开发了服务于冶金行业的辊道减速器以及起重机专用减速器、水泥磨专用减速器等。圆柱齿轮精度达到DIN3962及DIN3963标准6级，强度计算执行DIN3990。锥齿轮精度及强度计算执行KN3028标准。
